Discuss the aims and objectives of the project and explain where we would be able to assist.
We built Fotolec an entirely new website from scratch, modernising the look and feel whilst retaining the original copy structure to ensure consistency for existing partners. One of the key challenges was the sheer volume of products, which had resulted in their previous site being slow and cluttered. To streamline the user experience and improve UI, we grouped the products into three main categories, each with its own page. Within these pages, we used tabbed navigation to break products down into clear subcategories, making it easier for users to browse, therefore increasing conversion rates.
On the backend, we implemented a CMS to manage and display case study content consistently across the site. This allowed for easy updates whilst keeping the layout uniform and professional.
We used our in house photography resources to update management headshots, team photos, and quality imagery of the shop floor. When edited, the colour grading was tailored to highlight the company branding, so that the photography felt tied into the website and brand guidelines, giving an authentic feel and better reflecting the people behind the brand.
